Bath Overflow Floods Charlotte Condo
Early this morning the customer contacted us for water restoration in Charlotte because they realize they left the bathtub running while it was stopped up which causes the water to run all over the place from the top floor to the bottom floor causing a major amount of water damage. The customer stated that the water may have been running for at least an hour to hour and a half before finding out what was going on the customer returned home from the store in the water was still going and she noticed that water was coming down the ceiling from the side of the wall. Immediately she rushed upstairs to turn off the bathwater and her and her husband went to work with attempts to do the water damage cleanup their self with towels in old clothes after about an hour trying they realize that it was a more water than you could imagine and water mitigation in their own home was not going to be a job that they can handle. We arrived to provide the water mitigation services about an hour after customer called us once we walked in the first thing we did was move as much of the furniture out of the way as possible he proceed with the water extraction due to the vast amounts of water still lingering with in the home.

At first the customer had no idea what was going on or where the water came from after looking around for about five minutes they realize the water was coming from under the wall from the garage area so they thought perhaps a water hose was left on or something and after some investigation the customer realize the water was still coming from the water heater and must have been flowing overnight. After we arrived the first thing we did was turn off the water from the curb event additional water from flowing into the customers home and then we moved around some of the furniture and extracted as much water as possible to make the drain a little bit more efficient when we moved forward with the second part of the water restoration process.

Pipe Leak Floods South Charlotte Home
With all of the recent rain people in the industry of water restoration in Charlotte have been very very busy cleaning up water damage businesses and homes for his clients. As one of the leading companies for water mitigation in Charlotte we completely agree at property restoration Inc. that the bad weather has contributed to a large portion of the water damage cleanup calls water mitigation companies are receiving in the area lately. This afternoon we received a call for water damage cleanup from a customer whose home was flooding for something unrelated to the weather but typical for us in the water mitigation industry this customer was experiencing water damage due to a pipe burst inside of his wall. When we arrived the water was coming from underneath the baseboard and he had no idea why or where the exact location of the pipe that was leaking was located. As standard for any water restoration tech the first thing we did was get a general idea of the location of the pipe break and then we turned off the water from the main cut off valve to prevent additional water damage to the customers home. After removing the water damaged baseboard and drywall in the area where the majority of the water was coming from we noticed the cause of the water damage very quickly what seemed like a small hole in his pipe was actually a large hole in the pipe which caused water to leak inside of the wall and flow into the room for a few hours without interruption. This is the reason there was a large amount of water damage due to the time the water was able to flow. After a few hours of going through the restoration process we were able to extract all the water and remove all of the water damage materials from the house so we could establish a proper training environment to make sure the house is 100% dry after our water damage cleanup procedures.

Contractor Broke Pipe Flooding Charlotte Home in Wilmore
We received a call this afternoon for water mitigation in Charlotte from a customer in the Wilmore community with water damage due to a leaking pipe on their water heater. A lot of homes in the neighborhood have been going through a lot of upgrades and improvements lately and during this process the upgrades had to stop to address the necessary services of water damage cleanup.
