Early Sunday morning we received a call for water restoration in Charlotte from another customer dealing with the same cause of water damage as the day before. The customer woke up this morning to a flooded first floor with water damage to the entire floor and large portions of the walls. The cause was due to a broken water supply hose on the back of the washing machine. As a water mitigation company in Charlotte I can honestly say this is something we see on a regular basis that results in a lot of calls for water damage cleanup

Washing Machine Hose Floods Charlotte House on August Ln
We received a call for emergency water restoration and Charlotte from a customer that was experiencing a very very major water damage situation due to a leak in the laundry room. The customer stated that they begin to wash clothes and shortly after they heard a sound coming from the laundry room but did not pay any attention for some time while sitting in the living room that is approximately 10 feet10 to 15 feet from the area in the laundry room where the leak was coming they noticed the carpet begin to get wet and seen water running down various parts of the kitchen. Immediately the customer knew they were in a very bad situation because of the amount of water that went on interrupted for at least 15 to 20 minutes. The customer walked to the source of the water which was the washing machine and noticed that the water was running out and a very high rate and she immediately turned a nap to turn the water off but did not know why the water was running out of the machine once we arrive to provide water damage cleanup services we explain the water was not necessarily coming out of the machine but the water damage was caused by a break in the hose.

Toilet Water Line Broke on Elm Ln in Charlotte
We receive the call for emergency water restoration and Charlotte Eddie home on Elm Lane because the waterline to the toilet broke during the night flooding the house from the second floor down. The homeowner noticed the water damage after waking up during the night to use the restroom when walking through puddles of water in the bedroom carpet following the trail of water damage into the restroom. After noticing more puddles of water damaging the vinyl flooring and the cabinets in the bathroom the owner realized what the cause was quickly and turned off the water line that leads to the toilet. Unaware of the vast amount of water damage he was dealing with in his home he decided to get a shop vac to vacuum some of the water up and thought he could address the carpet in the water damage to the carpet and pad in the morning unfortunately in the morning when he woke up and went downstairs he realized that there was a ton of water on the downstairs damaging the carpet the laminate flooring in one room in the vinyl in the kitchen along with some of the ceiling panels caved in. He immediately begin to panic and decided to look online for water mitigation companies that handle the water damage cleanup.

We received a call for water restoration in Charlotte from a customer in the East Charlotte area of Plott Rd. The customer woke up this morning to find water slowly flowing into his living room along with the entire kitchen saturated with water damage in the entire area. As we investigated the cause and started the demo process the first thing we did was turn off the water at the main after that we quickly relieved the cause of the water damage was very obvious as the pipe did not appear to be firm on the faucet.

Depending on who you are there are people that washed your clothes in the daytime while others do things such as when your dishwashers or washed your clothes in the evening before going to bed that’s what led to our situation of water damage cleanup for our customer in the Charlotte this morning. The customer said that typically see wash his clothes in the evening for the kids and she has the clothes ready to be folded in the morning on the weekends and this was no different than any other time that she is wash clothes for the family however the difference for this situation she had to contact a water mitigation company to try out her house because of the extreme amounts of water throughout the first level of the home. After we arrive to her ride water restoration services as we investigated the thing that we noticed it first was the washing machine hose seemed to be broken which automatically helped us confirm it as the cause of their water damage.
