Water Heater Pipe Floods Home in Charlotte
Today’s call for water mitigation in Charlotte was from a customer that came home from work to find his home flooded and the entire first floor with extreme amounts of water damage to the floors and walls of the home. After pulling into the garage the first thing he noticed was water leaking into the garage from under the door and walls that connect to the kitchen. At first he was shot any walked inside of the home and more water came from under the door instinctively he knew that he had to turn off the water at the valve because he wasn’t certain of the location of the leak or where all the water was coming from because he noticed that all the faucets were turned off so he turned off the valves inside of the house but the water still kept coming out so he also made its way to the curb and turned off the water at the meter hoping that would stop the water from coming in and eventually did. Shortly after he looked around to survey how much water damaged was and looked for a water restoration company in Charlotte and contacted us to extract the water and dry out the home.

Bathroom Sink Overflow at Charlotte Home
We can count how many times we have received calls for water restoration in Charlotte due to a customer that is in need of water damage cleanup services because of the accidental overflow in their bathroom. That is exactly what led us to our call for water mitigation services in the east Charlotte this morning. The customer called us from work which is something that is happened before with a few other water damage cleanup customers but this particular customer after he got to work a neighbor called him stating that they noticed water coming from under his front door entering his yard so as he knew what to expect he contacted us while he was still at work in raced home however we beat him there and had to wait in order to get it out inside. Charlotte Home Washing Machine Leak
This morning we answered a call for water mitigation in Charlotte for a customer that woke up to a flooded house with water damage in the kitchen, living room, and dining room due to a break in the water supply line on the washing machine. After walking into to the living room and feeling water all over the carpet the customer heard the sound of water trickling in the laundry room area of the kitchen and noticed the water line to the washing machine was leaking. After turning off the water they immediately contacted us for water damage cleanup services.

Sewer Line Backs Up into Charlotte Home
We received a call for water damage cleanup in Charlotte this afternoon after a customer contacted us telling us that all of a sudden their toilet seemed to be backing up into the house for no apparent reason. After we arrived on the site of this water mitigation: we realized that we were experiencing what is clear and a sewer back up and one of the worst types of water damage calls that we receive in our industry. One of the first things we had to do to Address the needs of this customer as we proceeded with the water mitigation process was figure out how to stop the water from backing up into the house as it continued to do we realize that there was water flowing into the sewer line and the more water in it flowed into the sewer line more water backed up into the house causing more and more water damage for this customer to have to clean up and more water to damage the house. We had to figure out how to stop the water from coming Into the line because we were not sure as there are no faucets on at the time after some investigating we realized that the toilet in the upstairs bedroom bathroom actually was running which basically kept sending a fresh supply of water into the lane that would eventually back up into the house.

Broken Pipe in Wall at South Charlotte Condo
We received a call this morning for water damage cleanup in Charlotte from a customer that was badly in need of the water mitigation company to clean up the water he noticed throughout his first floor of his home after he awoke this morning. After arriving to provide water restoration services one of the first things that we typically do is we look for the source of the water damage and try to follow the path of the water damage to make sure that we are definitely at the source of the water damage. One of the first things we noticed was a lot of peeling at the baseboard of one of the walls though all of the baseboards were damaged this one wall had a lot of healing from it because that was the wall that the water was coming from so we got to work turned off the water at the main and begin the water extraction process and it took us about an hour to finish extracting the water. As we got around to the most complex part of water damage restoration the demo portion we started out by removing the baseboards in cutting out the drywall in the area that we felt was the source and we were exactly correct after we opened up the drywall you could see a gas inside of the pipe that was inside of the wall typically when we enter calls for water mitigation we do not see holes in pipes that big but it appeared that this hole in the pipe was something that the homeowner causeed the night before when hanging photos on the wall.

Broken Pipe Floods Charlotte Home
We received a call for emergency water restoration in Charlotte from a customer off of South Boulevard. The client called various water mitigation companies because they woke up early this morning to find their first floor with water all over the place. The customer stated that for the past couple of days they heard a hissing sound at times in a notice discoloration at a baseboard on and exterior wall all of a sudden this morning coming from the same location was water coming from under the baseboard that must have been flowing throughout the night the cause water damage to the entire first floor. The customer stated that they heard the hissing sound even louder this morning as they were walking through the various puddles throughout the house and noticed that the entire carpet was saturated along with pockets of water about an inch deep in certain areas after looking around for the exact source to customer realize they were air bubbles coming from the area where the hissing sound was which indicated that’s where the water came in from. The water damage was extremely massive and once we began the water damage cleanup process because of the size of the house approximately 2000 square ft of the first floor needed to have water extracted while other parts while in other parts we were able to remove the water damage during the water mitigation process of demo.

We received a call for water restoration cleanup at a home in Waxhaw due to a pipe burst inside of a wall. The owner woke up this morning to find his home flooded with water damage everywhere. As he searched he found the source of the water damage was due to a pipe break in the wall.

Hurricane Florence Flood Charlotte Claims
As a water restoration company in Charlotte we typically do not deal with water damage that arises from hurricane or tropical storm‘s.
