We received a call for water restoration in Charlotte from a customer in the East Charlotte area of Plott Rd. The customer woke up this morning to find water slowly flowing into his living room along with the entire kitchen saturated with water damage in the entire area. Often times when responding to calls for water damage cleanup in the Charlotte area we come across customers that find their selves in the middle of a water damage crisis because of repairs they made at the home involving plumbing that was not correctly addressed and that is the case in today’s call for water mitigation services. The customer stated he installed a new faucet on his kitchen sink the night before and somehow the pipe came loose sending water everywhere throughout the night resulting in water damaged materials to the entire kitchen and portions of the living room and dining room in need of water extraction and repairs. As we investigated the cause and started the demo process the first thing we did was turn off the water at the main after that we quickly relieved the cause of the water damage was very obvious as the pipe did not appear to be firm on the faucet.

The customer said that typically see wash his clothes in the evening for the kids and she has the clothes ready to be folded in the morning on the weekends and this was no different than any other time that she is wash clothes for the family however the difference for this situation she had to contact a water mitigation company to try out her house because of the extreme amounts of water throughout the first level of the home. After we arrive to her ride water restoration services as we investigated the thing that we noticed it first was the washing machine hose seemed to be broken which automatically helped us confirm it as the cause of their water damage.

Today’s call for water mitigation in Charlotte was from a customer that came home from work to find his home flooded and the entire first floor with extreme amounts of water damage to the floors and walls of the home. After pulling into the garage the first thing he noticed was water leaking into the garage from under the door and walls that connect to the kitchen. At first he was shot any walked inside of the home and more water came from under the door instinctively he knew that he had to turn off the water at the valve because he wasn’t certain of the location of the leak or where all the water was coming from because he noticed that all the faucets were turned off so he turned off the valves inside of the house but the water still kept coming out so he also made its way to the curb and turned off the water at the meter hoping that would stop the water from coming in and eventually did. This morning we answered a call for water mitigation in Charlotte for a customer that woke up to a flooded house with water damage in the kitchen, living room, and dining room due to a break in the water supply line on the washing machine. After walking into to the living room and feeling water all over the carpet the customer heard the sound of water trickling in the laundry room area of the kitchen and noticed the water line to the washing machine was leaking. After turning off the water they immediately contacted us for water damage cleanup services.

Sewer Line Backs Up into Charlotte Home
We received a call for water damage cleanup in Charlotte this afternoon after a customer contacted us telling us that all of a sudden their toilet seemed to be backing up into the house for no apparent reason. After we arrived on the site of this water mitigation: we realized that we were experiencing what is clear and a sewer back up and one of the worst types of water damage calls that we receive in our industry. One of the first things we had to do to Address the needs of this customer as we proceeded with the water mitigation process was figure out how to stop the water from backing up into the house as it continued to do we realize that there was water flowing into the sewer line and the more water in it flowed into the sewer line more water backed up into the house causing more and more water damage for this customer to have to clean up and more water to damage the house. We had to figure out how to stop the water from coming Into the line because we were not sure as there are no faucets on at the time after some investigating we realized that the toilet in the upstairs bedroom bathroom actually was running which basically kept sending a fresh supply of water into the lane that would eventually back up into the house.

Broken Pipe Floods Charlotte Home
We received a call for emergency water restoration in Charlotte from a customer off of South Boulevard. The client called various water mitigation companies because they woke up early this morning to find their first floor with water all over the place. The customer stated that for the past couple of days they heard a hissing sound at times in a notice discoloration at a baseboard on and exterior wall all of a sudden this morning coming from the same location was water coming from under the baseboard that must have been flowing throughout the night the cause water damage to the entire first floor. The customer stated that they heard the hissing sound even louder this morning as they were walking through the various puddles throughout the house and noticed that the entire carpet was saturated along with pockets of water about an inch deep in certain areas after looking around for the exact source to customer realize they were air bubbles coming from the area where the hissing sound was which indicated that’s where the water came in from. The water damage was extremely massive and once we began the water damage cleanup process because of the size of the house approximately 2000 square ft of the first floor needed to have water extracted while other parts while in other parts we were able to remove the water damage during the water mitigation process of demo.

We received a call for water restoration cleanup at a home in Waxhaw due to a pipe burst inside of a wall. The owner woke up this morning to find his home flooded with water damage everywhere. As he searched he found the source of the water damage was due to a pipe break in the wall.
