Charlotte Home Flooded by Running Shower
We got a call for water damage cleanup in Charlotte from a customer that was experiencing water damage because they were running late for work and forgot to turn the water off after getting in the shower. The customer stated that they were concerned that the water was left on with at their property and they were on their way back home to confirm that the water was still on but needed us to come by at the same time to provide emergency water mitigation services to their home in Charlotte. After getting settled at work the customer felt concerned that the water was still running and before calling us for water restoration services they wanted to confirm. So the customer look on their phone to access the video surveillance of their home and verified that there was definitely water damage taking place because he could hear water running and see things that look like it may have been damaged by water in the video so at that time the customer called us for water restoration services and made their way home. When made it to the customers home before they did and could tell water damage was taking place because water broke the seal of the property and was coming under the walls and out the door. This morning we got a quote for water restoration and Charlotte from a customer that suddenly realized water was coming into the home and the entire carpet was saturated in the living room along with areas of the bathroom in the kitchen. The customer stated that they tried their best to find out where the water was coming from but for some reason they had trouble finding the exact location. Because we knew exactly where the water damage was coming from now we were able to turn off the water at the valves and cut open the wall to figure out exactly how much damage was going on due to the situation. So as we continued with the water mitigation process we were able to get a hang of the situation to proceed with the next step in the water restoration process. Soon we extracted the water damaged materials and started the drying process to cleanup all remaining pockets of water in the walls and floor.
