A few years ago we did a water damage clean up call at a home in East Charlotte that was flooded due to an accident with their pet cat. According to the customer he was awakened by falling sheet rock on the 1st floor and the sound of running water coming from its bathroom and water dripping all through the 2nd floor of the home. The customer explained that the source of the water was the bathroom faucet being turned on by their pet cat apparently the cat would jump on the sink and hit the faucet with his paw to make the water drip and drink because of this water flowed for hours while the family was asleep flooding the house and making the customer Have to call a water restoration company in Charlotte to take care of this situation.
