Category: Water Damage

In North Carolina water damage in Charlotte can be very extensive due to the humidity in the air especially in the spring. Luckily for the Thompson family the weather in Charlotte decided to cooperate when they discovered water leaking in their south Charlotte home. At 4:45pm we received a call for service from Mrs. Thompson because while they were away from home at work for over 8 hours there toilet leaks from the second floor to the first floor. The dry wall was soaked and the ceiling was caving in and pieces of sheet rock was falling along with the water.

Today we had a service call for another hose leak. This time it was the hose to the ice maker for a refrigerator at a home in Pineville. After waking up Friday morning the smith family had minor water damage in their kitchen a discovered a pool of water running from the Refrigerator into the Garage. Fortunately it did not cause any electrical issues thou we did have to take precautions by turning off the breakers before proceeding with extracting the water. To their benefit it was a small leak in the hose and not a clean break. As an experienced company for water restoration in Charlotte we have seen our share of water damage and this was a easy house to mitigate.
