today we received the call for water damage cleanup in Charlotte from a customer that found yourself in need of water restoration services due to a problem with your dishwasher. The customer explained that there was a problem with his door on the dishwasher that made dishwasher continue to run when typically there’s a safety mechanism that will turn the dishwasher off when the door is open this did not happen in this particular situation which created a large amount of water damage to the kitchen and living room of the customer’s home. when the dishwasher is running typically the water stays inside but in this situation the water did not wash the dishes but it shot everywhere outside of the door though visibly it looked closed it was also letting water out to get all over the place which brings us to today’s situation for water mitigation services. She was unable to find the cause but once we arrived we quickly realized it was caused by the water heater which was sending water underneath the wall into the kitchen following the kitchen wall to the bathroom as well as to the living room. The customer explained that his tenant came home from work this afternoon to find the bedroom / basement area of the townhome was completely full of water with water going out of the back patio area due to a break in the water line leading from the water heater. We had to call for emergency water restoration in Charlotte at 3 a.m. at a house on Thompson Brook Lane. The customer woke up around 3 in the morning to find his house completely flooded from the second floor all the way to the first floor. what woke the customer up was allowed crashing sound of the ceiling sheetrock crashing to the ground due to the amount of water that was leaking in his bathroom unknown to the customer the water faucet was actually on for an unknown amount of time because while he was sleeping his cat jumped on the cabinet and hit the faucet with turn the water on. When he called us to provide the water damage cleanup services we were actually the second company he called another water restoration company in Charlotte he called did not answer the phone and he made his way to us when we arrived he showed us the situation and showed us what the cat did and one of the first things we did was take a picture of the wet cat.around 11 at night he heard the cat meowing in a strange manner and like most pet owners if you were tired sometimes you might ignore the bark of a dog or the meows of a cat. throughout the night the cat kept on meowing and meowing very loud as if it wanted to get out of the bathroom all along the cat was making noises due to the unknown flood that was happening to the customers as they were sleeping.

we received the call for emergency water restoration in Charlotte at a home off of Delta crossing that was in the middle of a situation of water damage due to an accidental puncture of a water line in the wall. The customer explained that they were in the middle of hanging photos on a wall when one of the nails went into a water line and started shooting water through the hole uncontrollably.
