This afternoon a customer in Charlotte called us for water mitigation services after returning home from work to find his home flooded due to a leaking water heater. We actually think the contractor did not know what they did because the cabinet door was closed when they were cutting in the location of the cut was below the sink but equal to the cabinet door which means the water was as flowing and could not be seen until the contract was gone overall the customer has an extensive amount of water damage all over their kitchen all over the living room with border going up the walls damaging some of the baseboards damaging the drywall wet wet flooring wet carpet in the living room wet flooring in the kitchen with the wet tile and almost all of the cabinets have to be removed from the house now and what turned out to be a good kitchen upgrade ends up to be a situation where the only thing that is left due to the water damage we have to cleanup are the countertops that were being changed in the first place.

This morning a customer called for emergency water damage clean up after her child turned on the water to the bathtub of her Charlotte home and forgot about it. While the customer was a sleep the 9 year old decided to take a bath before school but caused a large amount of water damage to the home after forgetting the water was on. The customers bedroom is on the 1st floor of the home and they where not aware until they heard water trickling down and the crashing of drywall. Once they noticed the house was flooded she started looking for water restoration companies in Charlotte and contacted is for there water mitigation needs.

Due to the amount of time the water damage took place we had to do heavy water extraction before starting the drying process.

Last nights call for water restoration in Charlotte was caused by a malfunctioning water sprinkler system. When working correctly water damage would not be a concern as water sprinklers are designed to mitigate a loss caused by smoke and fire. In this situation the customer was inside of his home with company. The guest decided to smoke which is something the homeowner does not do and suddenly the water sprinklers went off.
