We received a call for emergency water mitigation in Charlotte from a customer that woke up early in the morning to a flooded kitchen and living room.  When she woke up she found herself stepping in puddles throughout the carpet in she heard the sound of water rushing into the kitchen when she approached the kitchen she noticed water damage to the walls to the baseboards to the vinyl to the laminate flooring that was buckling and of course the carpet on the steps after looking around for the source of the water she eventually realize it was coming from under the refrigerator after moving a refrigerator she realized the reason for the leak is there was a cut in the waterline that is used to get water from the refrigerator this resulted in the need of extensive water damage cleanup in there Charlotte home. The reason for a break in the water supply line to the refrigerator was probably too tedious where in tear after years of use canned heat that is causing the back of the refrigerator at times always can become brittle and rupture in certain places which can cause the need for hiring a water restoration company to clean up the water that I’m screwed because of this. This morning we receive the coma for water mitigation in Charlotte from a customer experience in water damage  due to a sink overflow the customer stated as they were getting ready for church one of the children turned on the water to wash their hands before eating breakfast and did not turn the water off after leaving the house and going to church they were gone for approximately 2 to 3 hours all this time the water was flowing from the sink damaging the drywall creating water damage to the carpet to vinyl in the bathroom to the living room and into the kitchen.  The water flowed down to the second floor damaging the ceiling as well as the insulation in the wall when the customer came home from church they found water going out the back door as well as ponding throughout multiple areas of the first floor in the house and it completely saturated second floor after figuring out what caused it immediately looked online for water restoration and called us for water damage cleanup. we responded within 30 minutes to assist the customer with water mitigation.  After a few hours of demo we place the fans and dehumidifiers in all of the water damaged and affected areas that required significant rain and we anticipate due to the scope in amount of water damage the drying for this particular house we exceed five days.

This morning a customer contacted us for emergency water mitigation in Charlotte due to what appeared to be a sudden pipe burst. The customer first noticed what appeared to be discoloration in a small area of the wall about a 2 weeks ago and thought nothing of it. What she thought was nothing is what some in the water restoration industry call a pin hole leak. The problem with these type of leaks is that due to water pressure the size gets much bigger resulting in a need for water damage clean up
