Water line in wall floods home in Pineville resulting in a large amount of water damage at the customer’s home this morning. Like most of us when we think of our homes we do not have the idea or sumption that water damage will happen without a reason or cause end to see water coming from inside of your walls through an outlet causing the power to go out is something that is puzzling too many besides us in the water restoration service business in the Charlotte area. The customer explained that they were just relaxing looking at TV this morning while eating breakfast and all of a sudden there was water all over the place and the electricity went out. for the customer sake it is actually a good thing that the electricity went out that is because if it did not go out the standing water that she was not aware of in the kitchen could have electrocuted her along with damaging the rest of the home with the water damage that was ongoing throughout the area of the home.

Bad Dishwasher Install Floods Charlotte Home
We received the call for water damage cleanup in Charlotte at home on grissom Street the customer called us stating that he suddenly found about an inch of standing water on his kitchen floor running into other areas of his house. The customer first explained he was not sure where the water was coming from and how it started but once we arrive to begin the water restoration process we quickly realized that this situation of water damage was caused do to a loose connection on his pipe from the dishwasher under the sink. The dishwasher water line was not correctly installed when the customer replaced the dishwasher earlier in the week this resulted in water suddenly coming out under the cabinet where are the threads of the water supply connect to the water line. The customer purchased a used dishwasher off of Craigslist but did not purchase new fittings to install the dishwasher this is something that most companies require the use of new hoses and bolts and things of that nature to prevent a situation like what occurred today causing the water damage to his home. Once we begin the water cleanup process we started the extraction and then we went from the water extraction to placing the dehumidifiers and air movers too quickly dry out the remaining water over the next couple of days.

Early Morning Water Heater Issue Floods Home
This morning we received the call for water restoration in Charlotte and a home that was flooded at the moment due to an issue with their water heater. sometime during the middle of the night the water heater suddenly first sending water throughout the home flooding it causing a massive amount of water damage to the customer’s home. The customer woke up about 2 in the morning to use the restroom when he realized he was walking through a flood. The water heater was in the worst of locations it was actually located in the Attic end when the customer walked out of his room not only did he realize he was going through a flooded area of his home but he noticed that there was leaking water coming from above after panicking initially he eventually contacted a water restoration company in Charlotte but that particular company did not show so he went down the line and found us at Property Restoration Inc 2 assist him with his water damage cleanup needs. When we arrived we found that some of the drywall in his house had crashed down in the crumbled along with areas of bubbling water underneath the carpet.

AC Leak Floods Thorneblade St Home in Matthews
we received the call today for emergency water damage cleanup at home in Matthews which is right outside of Charlotte. The customer contacted us because suddenly they found water leaking from the ceiling and shortly after the drywall caved in and a big gush of water came through the ceiling along with the drywall leaving water damage to the floor and the walls as well as the ceiling. When the customer contacted us for water restoration services they explained the situation to us and we instantly realized it was a common issue with air conditioning units that have not been well maintenance causing water damage in the home. we arrived to the customer’s house to extract the water out of the carpet and place the humidifiers and fans in the area where the drywall and ceiling collapsed due to water damage. at this time the customer did not have any knowledge of what could have caused this and as water restoration technicians we advised the customer on the cause and how to prevent this type of water damage in the future. we advised the customer to frequently or at least annually clean out the drain pan with either bleach or some type of other solvent to sanitize the drain hose to keep mildew in any other blockages from happening which is a common reason that these types of water damages occur when the drain pan for the AC unit is clogged due to mildew or other debris in the line.

Water Heater Break Floods Charlotte Home on Vinca Circle
We received a call for emergency water damage cleanup in Charlotte from a landlord who’s condo was flooded at his home in the university area of Charlotte on vinca Circle. The customer explained that his tenant came home from work this afternoon to find the bedroom / basement area of the townhome was completely full of water with water going out of the back patio area due to a break in the water line leading from the water heater. The customer explained that the water damage appeared to be contained only to that area and there were no other areas inside of his home with water damage. we received the call for emergency water damage restoration Charlotte at a home on Longmeadow drive the customer explained to us that she was hanging hanging pictures in her home when a nail that she put through the wall must have punctured the water line. we received a call for emergency water restoration in Charlotte due to an accidental water line break from the refrigerator of a home. The customer advised us that one of their children were playing with the refrigerator door and must have knocked something over the back of the refrigerator severing the waterline the child noticed puddles of water coming from under the refrigerator but did not alert the parents but instead ran off into the room. Kitty Floods House in East Charlotte
We had to call for emergency water restoration in Charlotte at 3 a.m. at a house on Thompson Brook Lane. The customer woke up around 3 in the morning to find his house completely flooded from the second floor all the way to the first floor. what woke the customer up was allowed crashing sound of the ceiling sheetrock crashing to the ground due to the amount of water that was leaking in his bathroom unknown to the customer the water faucet was actually on for an unknown amount of time because while he was sleeping his cat jumped on the cabinet and hit the faucet with turn the water on. In the process of turning the water on and creating all of this water damage the cat actually walked in the sink in the stopper went down which is primarily to cause of the situation that the customer found himself in. When he called us to provide the water damage cleanup services we were actually the second company he called another water restoration company in Charlotte he called did not answer the phone and he made his way to us when we arrived he showed us the situation and showed us what the cat did and one of the first things we did was take a picture of the wet cat.around 11 at night he heard the cat meowing in a strange manner and like most pet owners if you were tired sometimes you might ignore the bark of a dog or the meows of a cat. throughout the night the cat kept on meowing and meowing very loud as if it wanted to get out of the bathroom all along the cat was making noises due to the unknown flood that was happening to the customers as they were sleeping.

Clogged Drain Floods Charlotte Home on Mallard Creek
team to call for emergency water restoration in Charlotte at a home off of Mallard Creek road that was experiencing water damage caused by a stoppage in the drain that did not allow water to drain properly which resulted in the water running over the side of the sink throughout the night. We received the call from a customer in need of water restoration in Charlotte due to a leak in their water heater which is located in the garage of their home. The customer arrived home from work this afternoon to find standing water in the garage with water streaming from the side of the water heater throughout the garage and under the door into the kitchen and living room of his house. when he realized what was going on the first thing he did was attempt to turn off the water to the water heater however that was unsuccessful due to the location of the valve.
