we received the call for emergency water restoration in Charlotte from a customer that returned home from work to realize that the entire home was flooded because a bathroom sink was left running the entire day. when the customer called she explained that she was in a rush this morning and must have forgot to turn the water off in the bathroom the result was water damage to pretty much the entire home from world of wall with water coming out of the home on multiple size and also coming into the garage the drywall was buckling and crumbling and multiple areas to floor was lifting up in multiple areas and there were bubbles in the vinyl due to the water damage.

Toilet Water Line Leak at Charlotte Home on West Blvd
We received a call for emergency water restoration in Charlotte at a home in the Wilmore neighborhood off of West boulevard. The customer called and advised us that sometime during the night water flooded the basement of his home as well as the entire first floor of his home that was recently renovated. After discovering the water when he woke up he looked around and realized that there was water continuously coming out of the water line connecting to his toilet for some reason he was not sure of the cause of the water damage to why this was happening he just knew he had to stop the water from flowing as soon as possible. The location of the waterline where the water was coming from was actually at the connection where it meets the toilet so he was able to turn the volume off to stop the flow of water end proceed with trying to clean up as much of the water as he possibly can. after trying for about an hour using a wet vac and old clothes and things of that nature he eventually looked online for water restoration companies in the Charlotte area and came across us at Property Restoration Inc to help him with the water damage cleanup. Once we arrived we dried up the Water by extracting it and doing the demolition then we set up all of our drying equipment and contacted his insurance company on his behalf.

Water Heater Leak at Charlotte Home on Woodknoll Dr
we received a call today for water damage cleanup at a house on woodmill drive in Charlotte that was going through a severe issue of water damage because the customer woke up this morning to find his house completely flooded in saturated and water do to a break in the water heater. The customer woke up on the second floor of his home and attempted to take a shower and realize that there was no water pressure at all then when he turned the sink on to brush his teeth there was still no water pressure and he did not know what was going on so once he walked downstairs he looked out the window to see if perhaps it will workers in the area and he realized that there was water all over the place in the kitchen and also in the garage. he walked closer to the source of the water and noticed that areas of drywall or falling off and the flooring in the kitchen was buckling which is a clear sign of water damage. He made his way into the garage and to his surprise he realize that the water heater was shooting out water through the pipe on the top where it is separated from the water heater. Sewer Backup in Charlotte Home on Welford Rd
today we had another call for water restoration in Charlotte from a customer off of welford road in the East Charlotte area of the town. the customer advised us that for some unknown reason water was backing into the house from the downstairs bathroom toilet. The customer was not sure how long it was doing this but she needed to have it resolved as soon as possible because the water damage was seeping into the walls the carpet and the entire flooring of the downstairs of the house. Once we arrived to provide the water damage cleanup services we first opened up the clean-out on the outside of the house to release the pressure to keep water from backing into the house and then we proceeded with the rest of our water damage procedures. Now we also advised the customer to look for a nearby plumber in the Charlotte area to come by and resolve what drainage issues she had so this doesn’t happen again. due to the amount of time the water was back into the house and causing water damage the scope of our work was a little different than the typical sewer backup that may have been happening for a short time this one was backing up a little longer because there was a slow run into one of the pipes that cause water to continually go down the drain this resulted in a continuous flow of water non-stop 24 hours a day so though we release the pressure on the outside portion of the pipe the water was still flowing which cause the water to continually flow into the house non-stop for a long time once the backup started while the customer wasn’t home. After the extraction and disinfectant and removal of materials in the house that came in contact with the sewage water the dry out wasn’t that difficult because the type of foundation the customer had was concrete and it just wasn’t the type along with the weather to let the water Sea Bright in plus we got all of the wet material out which made the drying so much easier to start so we’re hoping that the water mitigation process will be completed in the next few days and we will close this chapter and this customer dealings with water restoration.

Dishwasher Leak Flood Home on Homewood Ln.
we received a call this morning for water damage cleanup at home in Charlotte that was experiencing water damage due to a leak in the water line connecting to the dishwasher. which is typical with a lot of our clients and customers of other Charlotte water restoration companies our customer stated they washed their dishes in the evening with the expectation that when they wake up everything will be clean and or dry. Instead they found there self in need of a water restoration company. The customer explained that they turned on the dishwasher last night but woke up to a flooded kitchen and flooded living room with water damage to the floors and walls. after looking online for water mitigation companies they contacted us. Broken Faucet Floods Home in University Area
we received another call for water damage cleanup in Charlotte from a customer that was experiencing water damage due to her kids playing in the kitchen and the breaking a faucet. The customer told us that while the kids were playing one of them yanked the faucet a little too hard which caused water to shoot all over the place and to make things worse the kids ran into the bedroom to hide and did not notify their mother that the water was spilling all over the place until it was too late. when the mom went downstairs she realize that this was something very serious and she needs to find a water restoration company in Charlotte to cleanup the water. during the phone call when she described what was taking place she was unaware that there was an easy fix or solution to stop water from coming in while she waited for us to arrive we instructed her to go under the sink and turn off the shut-off valve which immediately stop the flow of water into the house lessening the amount of potential water damage and water extraction that we would need to address when we made it to the home.

Stolen Hot Water Heater Floods Rental Property in Charlotte
Today we received a quite interesting call for water restoration in Charlotte. The customer explained that he is a landlord and one of his vacant properties were vandalized and things were stolen for the value of the metal that it contains. when the customer arrived at his rental property he noticed that there was water all over the place and a lot of the home was suffering from water damage and water was still coming throughout the building and leaking from and through the walls in multiple areas after walking around to find out why the water damage was taking place he came across an area in the closet in the kitchen where the water heater is supposed to be however the water heater was apparently missing which led him to believe that the water heater was stolen. it wasn’t hard for him to realize that the water heater was stolen because the side door was actually kicked in which further the reason why he thought the house was broken into and things were stolen but what made the scenario even worse was the continuation of water damage that further victimized is his home and put it in a very very bad condition. When we arrive to move forward with the water mitigation process one thing that we noticed was there was so much drywall that has fallen due to the amount of water that was running all over the place the humidity in the house was sky-high and the floors seemed mushy and areas because they were literally soaking we came to the realization that this must have been flowing for days without the owner even knowing because of the amount of saturation that took place in the house and the depth of the water damage was very very extensive.
