Quick Responce To Water Damage Helped in Concord
Time is of the essence when it comes to water damage. The faster you get the restoration company out to dry your home the less time it will take to dry and less damage is likely to occur. A customer in Concord that contacted us this morning took that advice literally. Within minutes after first noticing flowing water in his bathroom he could not find the source as it was not coming from the pipes for the toilet or sink after calling us we found the source which was a ruptured PVC pipe behind the wall. In his case it could have been much worst but he did not hesitate to contact a water restoration service which gave us the chance to get to the source quickly to mitigate the damages

When Does Water Damage Happen
If there is one thing I have learned in the Charlotte water restoration industry it is that water damage can happen at any time but when it comes for the average home owner it happens when we least expect it or if we are not aware of it. In the past 2 weeks we helped dry out water damage from 6 or 7 homes and the next 3 statements are what 5 of the home owners told us when asked how did the water damage occur.
1. 3 people said, When I came in from work? The water was pouring out of the house.
2. I was grocery shopping and when I got home the ceilings where caved in.
3. After our vacation we came home to a mountain of water with buckled floor and sagging walls and ceilingsWater mitigation technicians hear the above statements on a regular basis and they all have one thing in common. As stated the homeowner either did not expect to have to call a restoration company for water damage clean-up services or the home owner just did not know about the flooding while it was happening after all you can’t predict a flood but statically thou water damage can happen anytime it typically happens when you’re not around to simply turn the source of the water off.

Water Leak Behind Wall
This morning we got a call from a customer concerned about water damage in their living room. After talking with the customer, he said for weeks he noticed the drywall was getting weaker in a certain area of the living room. He also noticed black spots on the wall which finally pushed him to give us a call as he suspected it was water damage. After arriving we quickly realized he should have reached out to a plumber to fix the pipe in his wall. As a water restoration company our main focus is to clean up water damage from flooded homes in Charlotte not pipes.

Nightmare Tenant Causes Water Damage to Charlotte Home
Owning a rental property can be a great investment for some homeowners but with all investments you have the weigh the risk. That is what should have been done with one of our recent water damage customers. As a landlord he rented his home to various families in the Charlotte area until he had issues with one of his tenants being late on the rent. Suddenly after advising the tenant she was late on the rent a mysterious flood occurred in his home causing thousands in dollars in water damage. We were able to provide the water restoration services for him to dry the home out but he will have to deal with the cost of water damage financially and emotionally for years to come.
